Cradle To Crayon are Drawing the Crowd

Cradle to Crayon is a stay and play group that was originally started by our Hall Manager (Sam) and another local dad (Dan), the fact that it was run by 2 dads drew a lot of attention and they were even featured on the BBC. Dan has since moved on to train as a classroom assistant at Lickey Primary, Sam continued to run the group with his wife Izzy until she gave birth to their second baby Ollie, since then Sam has been on the lookout for some people who can help to improve the group and make it more fun for the children.

In October Tina joined the team as a volunteer and has been a huge help, Tina worked at Sam and Izzy’s daughter Maisie’s nursery. “I jumped at the chance when Tina said she would help, she’s amazing with the kids and fun to work with” sam said. Most recently her colleague from nursery who is also named Tina has joined them to provide some extra musical entertainment and fun at the end of each session, “it’s been a gamechanger for the group” he continued.
